Junior Program 1

July 10-July 14, 2012 • Ages 7, 8 & 9

A wonderful 5 days of instruction and fun. Classes in ballet, theater dance, jazz, acting, variations and much more. Students will learn about ballets, choreography and improvisation. The Program will end with a performance for parents and friends. No audition is necessary, but students must have two years of prior ballet training.

Classes are held from July 10th – July 14th from 9:30 am to 3pm, and a performance is held on July 14th at 3pm.

Faculty: Chris Alloways-Ramsey, Mignon Furman, Brian Loftus, Jordan Moser, Merle Sepel, Rebecca Tsivkin, Heather White and more TBA.

Fee: $495

Junior Program 2

July 16-July 27, 2012 • Ages 10 & 11

Classes in classical ballet technique, variations, modern, jazz, floor barre, character dance and more.

Classes are held from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am – 3pm, and a performance is held on July 27th at 3pm.

Faculty: Mignon Furman, Lucia Kuimova, Brian Loftus, Jordan Moser, Steve Rooks, Merle Sepel, Rebecca Tsivkin, Dean Vollick, Debbie Wolter and more TBA.

To apply, send 4 photos:

1. Standing facing the camera with feet in 1st position and arms in 2nd.
2. Point to 2nd position (to the side) with arms in 2nd position.
3. Demi-plie in 1st position.
4. Feet in 3rd or 5th position with arms to 5th position.

Please write clearly on each photo the child’s name, address and age.

Fee: $975

Enrollment forms will be mailed after the four photographs have been received.

*Changes to program or faculty may be made when necessary.

General Information

Both programs conclude with a performance in the Dance Lab, on campus which parents and friends may attend.

Accommodations for parents and participants are available at the Hilton Rye Town Hotel, about a 10 minute drive from Purchase College SUNY. A limited number of rooms have been reserved at a greatly discounted price of $155 per night which includes breakfast for one. (The usual price is$265).
Parents must make their reservations with the hotel by calling (914) 939-6300 or faxing (914) 939-5328. Quote code #AAB when making reservations.
